The websites I create are all database driven and feature my proprietary content management system, a way for the client to update content using a straightforward editing page. As everyone needs something different, each website is custom written. I do not find scripts on the web and modify them; everything I write is original code. In addition to the geek factor, I also have an extensive graphic art background and a compulsion to do things efficiently. This means I design a user interface to be logical, easy, and attractive. Usability Recommendations If you are a web developer who is code-focussed, it's likely you need an outsider to go over your user interface. A user who is frustrated by illogical navigation or generally confused by your site will not stay long. Or maybe you lack the time or ability to comb your site for grammatical errors. I can take an outsider's view and recommend changes to improve your site. Help with Existing Sites If you just need startup help on a template-based site offered by the many hosts on the internet, I can give you a jump start. Even though they tout user-friendliness and ease of management, for the inexperienced, getting started can be daunting. Let me use my extensive experience to decode the process and get you started. Once these sites are up and running, the management will be much easier to understand.
